Expression of Interest system to be introduced to 5 immigration stream, says Ontario

New system labelled “more reliable and predictive “ according to public consultations.

Adapting onto the changing systems of the five economic-class immigration streams these upcoming weeks, Ontario claims to steadfast it’s systems.

Expression of Interest (EOI) system is been prevailed instead of the previous first-come-first-served model – the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)

hich previously has allotted candidates based on labor and human capital points. In similar to this,(PNP) Provincial Nominee Programs had been initiative with the same system to allot new registrations.

Steams that these Expression of Interest (EOI) imply are

-Educational stream ( PHD streams)

(Master graduate streams)

-working streams (Employer Job Offer Category streams) this stream includes  Foreign Worker, International Student and In-Demand Skills.

These on-going changes in Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) haven’t been publicized yet, until the launch of the new (EOI) Expression of Interest in the upcoming weeks ahead.

EOI probe changes in the immigration system to Ontario ?

As the new initiated systems of EOI (Expression of Interest) several changes would be pertained in the immigration system. For instance, Ontario plans to inaugurate open web portals permitting candidates to register under PNPs. 

The registration windows had been taken down as a popular demand, as the onscreen regulations would only last a few minutes until it gets filled. Since, OINP had required an email address, therefore those afflicted with technical issues and slow network coverage had felt it unjust in their favour. 

Ontario had thus accepted the public consultations regarding the new EOI system, which in turn received positive feedbacks. 

Several feedbacks had been received between September 9 and October 23, where immigration organizations, professional associations, prospective applicants, and individual employers jad submitted the same.
