150 candidates in new draw whilst invited by PEI PNP

Candidates through Express Entry, Labour Impact, and Business Impact were been invited to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence. 

On March 18, New prince island had issued new draws were scheduled. This is inclusive of a total of 150 invitations issued by the  Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP),

140 invitation were issued to invite Express Entry and labour Impact candidates. Business Impact candidates with the least point threshold were been allotted the remaining 10 invitations. 

Canada’s provinces and territories were allowed to select immigration candidates that fulgil their labour market needs through the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs). 

PEI PNP Express Entry Category

PEI PNP Express Entry Category is a province that’s advanced and tied up with the Federal government’s Express Entry. 

In order to manage the economic-class immigration candidates, Express Entry considers : Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class.

Their selection eligibility is also dependent on their CRS ( Comprehensive Ranking System) score based on their age, education, work experience and language skills accordingly. 

Express Entry candidates were invited by the provincial nomination based on their additional 600 points points allotted by the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) scores with an expense guaranteed an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for their Express Entry draws. 

Express Entry candidates are required to create an EOI profile with the PEI PNP in order to be considered by the provincial nomination from P.E.I. 

The provinces provide their unique draw points to the EOI profiles every year, and the highest scoring candidates are rewarded additional 600 points through Express Entry based on these monthly draws. 

Labour Impact Category

Foreign nationals who are equipped with skilled secured jobs in P.E.I with additional support by their employer are usually eligible for the Labour Impact Category. It is further classified into three streams: Skilled Worker, Critical Worker, and International Graduate. 

As an eligibility criteria for Labour Impact Category, candidates must also submit their Expression of Interest I which in turn gets noticed by the provincial nomination. 

Business Impact Category 

The eligibility of Business Impact Category is through obtaining the minimum provincial score provided. These scores vary accordingly with each monthly draws. Under the work permit criteria, where foreign entrepreneurs own their business lands to operate, the P.E.I sends through invitations based on this issue.
